Building Recovery Capital Committee Meeting
You are invited to participate in a virtual feedback and planning session focused on Building Recovery Capital – The Personal, Social, and Community Resources That Make Recovery Possible: A Virtual Feedback & Planning Session, focusing on strengthening recovery capital across Franklin County and the North Quabbin Region, to be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 11 AM to 12:30 PM. One can register for this free event here.
Recovery is sustained not only through access to treatment and services, but also through the relationships, resources, opportunities, and community connections that help individuals build healthy, meaningful, and resilient lives. This session will explore how we can collectively strengthen the personal, social, and community assets that support long-term recovery throughout our rural region.
During this session, we will:
- Learn more about the concept of recovery capital and its role in supporting sustained recovery;
- Gather feedback from community partners, individuals with lived experience, and stakeholders about existing strengths and gaps in our region;
- Identify opportunities to expand connections, resources, and supports that help people build recovery capital; and
- Begin developing priorities and action steps for future collaboration, including planning for a fall Building Recovery Capital Summit.
Your experience, perspective, and partnership are essential to this conversation. Whether you represent a community organization, service provider, public agency, recovery community, or have lived or living experience, or are an ally, we hope you will join us and help shape the next steps.More details are below or available here.
