DESCRIPTION:In this session\, Leslie Chaison and Nora Toomey\, herbalists at the People’s Medicine Project\, will share approaches to and experience of supporting people who are seeking recovery\, in active recovery\, using MAT; and harm reduction. We will include handouts with simple\, safe recipes and herbs to help nourish the body through any phase of opioid use or recovery\, support the nervous system\, neuroendocrine rebalancing\, GI repair\, and allay common symptoms of PAWS: anxiety\, insomnia\, exhaustion\, and cravings. \nRegister here!
