DESCRIPTION:In this session\, Leslie Chaison and Nora Toomey\, herbalists at the People’s Medicine Project\, will share approaches to and experience of supporting people who are seeking recovery\, in active recovery\, using MAT; and harm reduction. DESCRIPTION:Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) is an empirically validated\, adjunctive clinical treatment for complex trauma or chronic\, treatment-resistant PTSD. Developed at the Trauma Center in Brookline\, Massachusetts\, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga has foundations in Trauma Theory\, Attachment Theory\, and Neuroscience as well as Hatha Yoga practice with an emphasis on body-based yoga forms and breathing practices. \nJoin us for a presentation by local yoga instructor Elena Mamatas\, who is certified in TCTSY\, to hear about how this practice can help people in recovery from trauma and substance use disorder. \nRegister here!
