DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a virtual information session tomorrow afternoon\, Thursday\, April 16\, 2026\, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM entitled “Transforming Massachusetts Opioid Settlement Funds into Community Impact”\, to learn about the Massachusetts municipal opioid settlement funding\, its structure\, and how it is made available to cities and towns. You can register for this free event here. \nMosaic Municipal Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) offers direct support to help municipalities navigate the many decisions involved in allocating these resources effectively. DESCRIPTION:In recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month\, please join us for an informative and impactful presentation on Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) by Jessica Loebel\, Family Advocate and CSEC Case Coordinator at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Franklin County and North Quabbin\, today\, Wednesday\, April 22\, 2026\, from 2 PM to 3 PM. You can register for this free virtual event here. \nThis session will provide a comprehensive overview of what CSEC is and how it looks in our rural community\, including online risks\, such as generative AI. We will also discuss how Massachusetts laws define and protect children from sexual exploitation. Participants will learn to identify common risk factors and red flags\, what resources are available\, and better understand how our local systems collaborate to support affected youth.  \nThe presentation will include the role of the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF) and how coordinated efforts through a multidisciplinary team model help ensure safety\, intervention\, and long-term support for vulnerable children and families.  \nThis session strengthens our communities and supports youth in our region through prevention and awareness.
